Introductory surf lessons in Lacanau
The initiation to surfing consists of giving you the technical basics of surfing so that you can have fun on board and without risk.
For this we advise you to take a collective beginner surf lesson " LITTLE SESSION ". You can also take lessons in the form of private surf lessons " VIP SESSION ", " DUO VIP SESSION " or " FAMILY VIP SESSION ".
During an introductory surf lesson, you will learn to correctly maintain your board facing the waves, to take foam * with a good position of oar, and with the right timing. You will finally learn to stand up on your board.
* foam: the foam, the white surging part of the wave.
The initiation to surfing is accessible to all. We start the introductory courses from the age of 7 as a private lesson " VIP SESSION ". And, from 10 years old, in a “ LITTLE SESSION ” group formula , with a maximum of 8 people.
Finally, the introductory course will be placed at a time of low tide, or even mid-tide so that you have your footing while practicing. High tide will therefore be avoided for this level, except in exceptional cases with the presence of a sandbank which can operate at high tide and generate foam with a sufficient water level for your first learning.
