Advanced surf lesson
What does the advanced surf course consist of?
The advanced surf course is done offshore or on reform. The goal is to learn to surf the waves as soon as they are formed, by following their evolution, and by surfing the smooth part of them. To do this, you need to have a good grasp of the basics: having a correct paddle, a good recovery, knowing how to steer your board, and begin to understand the ocean and the waves. It is also necessary to have a good physical condition.
The aim of this course is to develop the “surfer's sea eye”. Like the Jedi, we will learn to use the forces of the ocean, the current, to get to sea. Then all the pedagogy is centered around the placement on the waves: in other words succeeding in positioning oneself according to the coming and breaking of the waves, knowing how to manage one's position in depth and laterally. For this, of course, your instructor is at your side!
Finally, a whole analysis work is put in place to improve your trajectories and your technical repertoire on the waves.
For safety reasons, it is obvious that the goal is not to "send you to the coal" but to make progress in your surfing. Thus, the practice times are chosen according to the weather conditions of the surf and the tide times.
